The City of Westby Wastewater Treatment Plant was constructed in 1981 and is located at 925 W State Street, just outside of the residential area of the city on approximately 15 acres of land. All wastewater from the City enters through a 15" main. It has a design flow of 229,800 gpd. It consists of gravity flow into the headwork of the plant. The City of Westby sewer system consists of gravity and forced main components. The system is not interconnected with other sanitary collection systems. Our sewer operator maintains 18 miles of gravity sewer lines, 6 lift stations with 4 miles of forced main, and 288 manholes.
